Yoga and meditation saved me during the hardest times of my life. It relieved my chronic back and hip pain when I thought nothing else would work. It gave me courage amidst an abusive relationship, it cleared my judgement when dealing with addiction, it brought me calmness amongst mental health and ultimately gave me a place in this world when I thought there just wasn't one for me. Yoga piggy backed me on those long, hard roads that seemed to be steep and winding, and it carried me to a place where happiness, peace and joy constantly exist regardless of whats happening externally. On my journey I have discovered and put to use a set of tools that work like a charm. They not only lifted me from depression but helped me gain first place in the race of life.
